hi dudes .... merry christmas and all that jazz

so ... i was watching the sound of music today (sky movies) and well it's a fun film, it's long and alittle bit odd in places, but it's good ... i like it

anyway so god knows how many times i've watched the film, but today i was watching it by myself (also trying to regain control of my eyebrows) and i started noticing stuff that i hadn't really picked up on .... such as .. hello the captain's actual first name? only the baroness and max call captain von trapp by his first name ... only they do it so rarely in the film it just sort of slips your mind.

anyhow i became alittle bit obsessed by this because it's an odd name which sounded like (now the following is spelt how it sounds, not the actual names)

gaylord
gaylaw
gaylog
and the odd occassion it sounded like gail

turns out his first name is Georg

and the second thing i noticed is after the whol 'folk dancing scene outside of the party' (with maria and von trapp) there's this really odd line, maria's run off with the kids, and as von trapp and the baroness are walking back into the party he says (though this is not word for word) 'it's chilly out here, init' ... i'm like did captain von trapp just say init? as in the rather chav like init man, init?

oh and there were some rather odd comments running through my head, like when von trapp is singing with the guitar for the first time and they show maria going all goo-goo eyes and oh isn't he wonderful ... my mind comes up with ... 'ooo she's getting lady-wood' ...

anyways i'm sure this entry will be either completely ignored or will have replies saying that's not what he said you silly girl, or what's lady wood? ... if someone also knows how to pronouce georg (apparently the actors were having trouble) please reply and write it phonetically or how it sounds (like natalie would be spelt nat a lee)

by the way i'm not massivly into musicals or anything like that ... but i'm like a dog with a bone and once i notice something it just sets my mind racing ....hopefully i'll get a new stock image up
